Topic: X-wing Alliance

So I finally got my hands on a demo version of XWA (after 3 hours of net surfing and google) and unless someone can help me with my controller issue I think that I just wasted a lot of time. For some reason when I am playing XWA, my rudder controls (yaw) make my craft roll, and my roll controls make my craft yaw. Obviously this makes the game unplayable. Is there any way to fix this? anything I can download? Either it is a problem with my game/computer, or some XWA dev was an idiot.

Feel free to continue discussion on anything about XWA in this thread once this problem is resolved.

Well, I would suggest two things

a) changing the controls by pressing ESC and then going into the controls options

and

b) not downloading a demo and getting the actual game. It's like $5 these days!

there is no option to rebind the joystick axis controls in either the options menu or the text file.

I've never played an XWA demo, I just own the game, and it works fine.
