hQ.=the best GC clan for its day!

Best mates, best teamwork ever ive seen in 11+ years of playing team games online!

cant wait for FS in SEP!

I SUGGEST RIGHT BEFORE YOU RELEASE THE FIRST VERSION TO release An OPEN BETA TO EVREYBODY!!! SO WE YOU CAN TEST SERVERS WITH 40+ PLAYERS!!! I HAVE TALKED TO FS ALPHA TESTERS AND I KNOW YOU HAVENT DONE THIS YET!!!! YOU DONT EVEN HAVE 40 testers online ever!!!

Otherwise youll release this mod and have to quickly release a patch to fix some things the public found.

Maybe 1 week before release have an open beta where we can felsh out the things that will be shortly discovered otherwise!

I'm an Alpha Tester, NOT a dev, but I'm pretty safe (I think) by speaking by saying no to an open beta. But I'm sure they're thankful for your support.

And now speaking as a tester, our cult has actually grown.

Dude stop trying to get the mod out faster to the public... it will come when it comes. TYPING IN ALL CAPS isn't going to make it look anymore important. And it's not like the devs can't easily get the required number of testers if they so desired. I don't like open betas either. But it is their decision. Seems open betas get pushed on dev teams by the community just because they want to get to play faster and hardly ANYONE ever submits a real good report. I saw it in PR beta, there were more threads complaining about things that devs intended to have then people suggesting fixes and pointing out bugs.

P.S.
The [ASF] will be the best FS clan!

There is little point in an open beta for a mod. Its easier for everyone to just go by "release 1" "release2" , "release 3" etc .  If you start implementing betas and such you get people confusing the beta with the 1st release (cos it was the 1st version of the mod to be released) etc...yes, people get confused ..rather easily.

Another reason is the mod wont be completed even at release 3 or 4 . We'll be coninuely adding features etc that we have planned already but wont make it in until a later date. Its not like there would be a beta and then a release and thats it. Only a tiny portion of the intended mod will be included in release 1.

Personally i see release 1 as an open beta but we wont be calling it that.

Yeah the open beta is basically gonna be the first release..  That'l be the one where all the bugs get fixed etc, then in later versions the mod will really start kicking off.

No. You see thats why we have closed alpha and beta testers.

Indeed! We've worked long and hard for R1 as testers, formed a good bunch, and have been brutally tortured by the Devs and less so by the public. If ANY bugs have gotten by us, then well, it must not be a bug and you're seeing things ; ).
