Yeah, we have to use the BF2 editor but it isnt really a big deal. The bf2142 engine coding system is exactly the same as bf2's system just with a few extra addons, so any code generated by the bf2 editor will work in bf2142, then any extra bits can be added manually in notepad.

This is correct. There are actually little landing feet on the B wing, but we dont have a ground based map with space fighters yet so they've been disabled for the moment.

Yeah I imagine we'll use the same code for the lambda wings, LandingGear objects are perfectly suited for this kind of thing.
