Topic: How did you find out about First Strike?

Just curious about how people found their way here.
What works and what doesn't, as far as getting the word out.

So how did you find out about First Strike?  Was it by word of mouth, a post in a forum, an article in a magazine or web site?

For me, someone posted about this a while back on GC's forum(Galactic Conquest, an old bf1942 Star Wars mod)  and I'm happy I checked it out.

I first caught wind of First Strike when I was browsing a BF2 forum back when the mod was going to be for BF2

Well thanks to my connections to the old GCmod i sortof checked upon things once in a while and found out they quit making SF and headed back to Star wars.

I think BF2files/Jolt forums were my sources for that.

And i'm glad i returned. smile

There was one Finnish IRC forum where some guy said he's been waiting this mod longer than the Bf2142 game itself. This was a bit before the release of Battlefield 2142. So I checked out web page and as a Star Wars fan liked the idea instantly.
