Re: UAV model

could code it to just run circles in a room or something. instead of moving all around..... besides I dont think this should be a uav. I mean you dont have a UAV inside anyways. more like an intruder alert by a computer or someone setting it off. not really a radar on ship. kind of pointless. would be cool if you could have a Control room with it and have in game monitors watching actual hallways and such and blow them up... lol not for someone to sit and watch but still would be Cool looking plus something to blow up.

Re: UAV model

ok sorry. what about.... can you code it so when a side captures a flag it will show a uav for the room or something. I mean they didnt know they were in a certain hallway just that an alarm went off and what floor they were on.... maybe have multiple floors as well. with flags on different floors.

This is kind of like my idea, using monitors etc. Read this (just the first post):

Re: UAV model

Don't know if Jester's idea can be coded.  And what's wrong with a UAV indoors?  Use thermal imaging to see through the roof.

Re: UAV model

the mouse droid was used for surveillance too, so why not use this mouse droid as UAV??

They are released out of special storage rooms inside walls, play Jedi Knight again and u know what I mean

I think it was Jedi Outcast, in a level u needed to control a mouse droid

Re: UAV model

Yeah those mouse droids would be really cool for URVs (Unmanned Reconnaissance Vehicle) (they aren't aerial are they), I'm not sure about how you would get the coding right for indoor maps (inside an SD) since there would be multiple levels, how would the URV know which level it should appear on?  Is there a way in the BF:2 engine to set how high above the ground a UAV appears according to where it is on the map?

Re: UAV model

we all post suggestions, but I think it is  a hard nutshell for the devs to crack smile
