Sorry for "spamming" the forums, but I usually have a busy day and don't get to the computer until late. It did start with the map loading problem, but it snowballed. I now know all the fixes for the common problems so I shouldn't have to reinstall for a while.

For the problem in the screeny, all you can do, really, is barrow or buy a new disc. It's scratched, and won't install properly until it's repaired. I'm sorry for starting all of this fuss, heh.:D
