Ecliptical Realms provides clans with a weighted gaming system for online competitive game play and predominately focuses on Star Wars based battles including SW Battlefront , SW Republic Commando, Jedi Knight: Academy and SW Empire at War titles. We're excited to see SW First Strike ready for an initial end of September release and will be supporting it as a game service soon after.

Here's a run down on how battles work.

Battle match results are submitted to this site and statistics are tracked to decide the top players and the top clans. Having a weighted gaming system rewards weaker clans and players for taking on stronger opponents while distributing less points to clans/players that constantly look for 'easy games'. A combination of skill and participation are the necessary attributes needed to be a top competitor and we feel our games support a fair and tested setup that ensures results reflect our clan's input.

The top Clans and Players are decided by a combination of the following categories in the Battle:
(not in any particular order and dependent on game)
Number of Players
Number of Games Played
Victory Ratio
Attrition Ratio
Unique Opponents Played
Higher Ranks Played
Assistant Points
