Topic: RAM for vista

my 2142 game has been laggin like crazy and i dont know what to do!!!
i have vista and it is using like 40% of my RAM doing nothing sooooo is
it a RAM problem? i have a 1Gb RAM should i go back to xp or buy more RAM

Go to MyDocs/Battlefield 2142/mods/bf2142/cache...

DELETE EVERYTHING IN THERE.

Then restart PC and try again.

my computer only has 812 gigs of ram and i do fine but i cant play with a lot of detalil though..
but performance over quality tongue

i also had my video card set on low too.. but is it just 2142 being laggy or is your whole computer being sluggush? but what ty said may be a solution to your problem

but yeah, vista eats up quite a bit of ram so i do suggest getting xp but it really is your choice whether you do it or not, its all up to you smile

You mean 512? or do you mean hard drive space? Or was it a typo? Or do you not know what you are saying?
