Ok, my next question is this, and I'm sure other server admins have this question (if they have been answered my apologies, I am at work and don't have time to search thoroughly).

Will 2142CC work?  Or will we need to edit text files?  If editing text files is the way (which is OK by me, I'm an old fart who started on DOS) can we get a list of settings and what they do.

I will avoid asking the obvious questions that everyone wants to know, even though I am dying to!

Woodrow told me 2142CC will not work.  Last I heard he was working on a python script to manage the servers.

we at =UKAW= would like to host a First Strike server, even though we dont have a 2142 server running several of our clan have been interested in this mod for a long time, im sure we have room on our dedi box for a FS server smile

Any news on the server files yet as mad4servers do not work at weekends would like to upload them before the weekend and i have 3 or 4 clans that rent a box from me they would like to host and i have to upload the files for them before 4.30 GMT as they do not get FTP just rcon and i do not like working late

hope you can help. its my B day and iam hoping to go out with wife.
