Topic: Game crashes

OK Just read that SP doesn't work, sad but ok maybe in a future. Tried to join MP, goes to loading screen, line goes half way and game goes CTD. My CP is Intel Core duo 6300, 2 gigs of ram with 8500 512 Mb of ram. Been wayting for this mod since it was announced it would like to play it. Help me please.
FYI i un-installed and reinstalled mod twice nothing worked.

what version is your bf212 at? did you ever update your punkbuster manualy?
what are your ingame video settings

I've had similar problems.  Since I knew that SP wasn't working, I've tried loading a few maps in Local Multiplayer but keep having CTD's once the map completes loading (don't get the 'Deploy' button).  So far, I've had CTD's on all the ground maps (Tattoine Mos Espa, Endor).  I did get Battle of Taloraan to run consistently though.

System specs: C2D E6400, 4Gigs RAM, ATI X1950XT 256M.  BF2142 v1.25.

I also just got an odd CTD in Encounter at Mos Entha - the game loaded and allowed me to deploy, but then it got VERY choppy and ended up giving me a memory allocation error.

Suggestions appreciated!

The random crashing is something we are working on right now. It funny because everything works great until we release it. hmm
We'll have more info on the ground maps crashing shortly.

Yeah I can't get into the game at all either...the game loads up, but as soon as I click the "Deploy" button the game crashes to desktop.  Tried it 4 times and same thing each time.  Rebooting, reinstalling doesn't fix it.

I AM running 32 bit Vista Home Premium, so not sure if that has something to do with it??? I have successfully run other mods though...

Hope you guys can help us out as I have been waiting for this mod for ages and it sounds awesome...really can't wait to get in and start blasting!

I have the same problem and also run Vista 32 bit Home Premium, however the problem doesn't happen on my XP machine. We'll be looking into this problem this evening as well as other issues. I assumed it was my appalling pc, but if your pc is having the same problems, then it must be something a little deeper.
