I'm running max settings without lag, and I do think the hangar is also very dark, I can barely see it, this is also a problem on the mos espa map I think (the night map) where the ground is pretty dark, it has some pretty bad lighting the buildings stick out like sore thumbs

yep hangar is too dark even on my lcd in the empire hangar slightly brighter lighting needed.

I think the idea i suggested in another thread about rows of lights in the hangar roof as sort of take off lanes for each Tie would add a nice touch(imho i think the hangar roof looks too bland and uninteresting as of right now,as well as being too dark a colour)and could also serve as a double function to provide more light to help out with the other darkness problem.If its unclear what i mean by take off lanes basically think of cats eyes in the road either side of each lane(two rows for each Tie,one row to the left,one row to the right of each ship).How about making them flash in sequence going from the back wall to the hangar exit(kinda like an airport runway),.Some more lighting is deffinately needed in the higher up section of the hangar where u board the ships tho.

Do you mean that even the picture I posted is too dark?
Because I can see just fine.

um............ yes it dose. And No I never have this issue. It's your GFX cards not the mod. I have played on over 24 servers and we never have this issue. What you need to do is turn up the view dictance to full. then you should see the backgrounds and everything alot farther away than 2 feet. I know you will take a performence hit but even in the BF2142 truble shoot manuals on the net they tell you to always have the veiw dictance as high as it can go in all BF games or your at a huge disadvantage online agenst players who have it all the way up and can kill you at the max view dictance.
