Topic: Four Quick suggestions to make the mod feel a little better

First, the animations that you see when you are standing still for a little while are the same as vanilla 2142, which are similar to bf2. In other words they are old and boring, can we have some new ones maybe? big_smile

When a Storm Trooper gets shot he screams the 2142 scream, which sounds nothing like the troops from the movies, not at all like a killing machine in a helmet.

The standard Storm Trooper blaster is WAY TO INACCURATE!!!
The Troops in the movies I think that the standard Imp blaster seems so inaccurate because the Imp's are bad marksmen. So can the we please have a more accurate blaster? (One of my main concerns I guess is that normally I can land headshots easily but with the standard Imp blaster only about 1 in 5 shots actually hit sad big_smile )

Can we please have reloading? What with the inaccuracy of some of the weapons alot of ammunition is used, having a few extra magazines would really help big_smile

The vanilla animations seem good enough to me.  I'd rather see them spending their time making more important things like new maps/vehicles.  I haven't noticed the scream thing though.  Stormtroopers are just regular guys though, so I'm sure they'd scream like anyone else when they die.

As for the blaster, I completely agree.  I find myself using the pistol as opposed to the E11 because it's much faster to kill someone with it since it's actually very accurate.  I don't think it needs extra clips though, there are plenty of recharge stations all over the maps that it's not really necessary.

The bf2142 screams (and some othe bf2142 sounds) are still in there simply because we havent implemented/recorded our own yet. You noticed the cool wilhelm scream yet?

We'll look into weapon accuracies a little later on when more feedback comes in

The weapons need a bit of practice. If you hold still for a second and then fire, you will notice your shots will be more accurate.
If you want more ammo, ask the support class for more ammo. The Mod is based upon teamplay and like the medic can heal you and revive you, the support class will supply you with ammo.

its hard to co-ordinate your team this well. If you could only have one medic and one support for each squad. The rest would be troopers or heavy weapons guys. And of course with one team leader. This takes alot of freadom away though

maybe thats why they used light sabers cause they seem way more accurate then blasters
