updating shader and then it stops?
is you harddisk full? shader cache is saved on you harddisk and not having enof space caused me this problem one time.
its adviced (not by me, buts it works great) to have atleast 15% free space on you main harddrive
the updating shaders takes a very long time, so dont try to stop it. wait it out. on the most crap pc that could however still run 2142, it could take up to 10 min.
delete the cache you have and try it again. also updating your video driver could work, as this forces the shaders to update anyway
Beta: Latin for "still doesn't work".
