yea i had to undo my slave hard drive and just leave my master running.  for some resaon there is always a conflict when it comes to playing any of the battlefield series i have came to notice.  I also have a computer running next to this one with a 3.00ghz pt4ht and a g of ram and it to had the same problem loading bf1942 all of expaintions and up to bf2 (including bfv)  i have came to realise that EA tried to solve this problem by creating a new program file for bf2142 but considering the file formats are very close and the layouts are allmost the same ( ex mods folder achives...) it can still run into a problem.   so heres a good way to get it back up and running afther u disabled the slave hard drive.  step 1 uninstall Bf2142  step 2  delete any bf2142 files found in documents  step 3 search the hard drive you have it on(search bf 2142, battlefield, EA...)  then delete those files.  step 4 reinstal bf 2142  step 5 install 1.25 patch.  step 6 try to run bf2142 and see if u can join a server if u can then u can continue with installing FS 1.0  then the patach 1.1.   If one person follows these steps im %85%  sure it will work for them.  Just a word from a FireDog  and if anyone tells Circuit City about this i prob will be fired hehe.
