Hi guys I'm new here, and I registered to notify you of the following:

to begin with of course the standard text:
Great mod! which is of course true.

but I had a lot of problems with v1.0...  prblems like computer freezing after say, 20 sec. of playing...
"connection problems" of death...

now with patch v1.1 I had high hopes and yes I was able to play for an hour without problems, but then  my game freezed again once, and when I restarted  I wasn't able to play on any server again. the map loads and then when I click to enter the map, I'm redirected to the multiplayer menu and I get something like "you cannot play bf2142 with an edited version of the game, make sure your game is restored to the orginal version and try again" which is very annoying...


could someone help me? solve this in a further patch?

oh yea, i found one of those traps once, but didnt really know what it was.. so i stepped on it and.. well u know what happened big_smile

Sounds to me like you might be trying to get onto servers that are still running v1.0 of the mod. Once everyone gets updated you should no longer have this problem.

Also on XP 64 yikes Trying 1 more time, I just been deleting the mod folder but I'll check if you guys made a uninstall .exe   I have been restarting/shutting down so far between steps. I'll keep ya posted.

found the uninstall exe.  used it
Restarted
Installed mod
Restarted
Patched... (Not Responding) at file 27
Requested mercy

but this method WORKS
Uninstall the mod
Install mod
Make sure you saved the patch.exe
Right click the exe, compatability tab, set it to run under Win 95
Patch success!

my game doesn't crash, it freezes on endor. I wish I crashed

Our Server is running good on 32 player maps. Crashes on 64 player maps. Anyone else see this?
