Topic: 1.1 Installation Issue

"you do not appear to have First Strike version 1.0 or later correctly installed."

thats the message I get. so naturally it won't even begin to patch. 1.0 installed fine and played fine so I'm hoping this is a known issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is your FS directory non-standard (on a different drive or something)?

actually ya its not on C: thats shouldn't matter though....normally it would ask you to point to the directory just like the1.0 installer did.

The current updater does not ask for the directory.  You can get around this by creating a C:\Mods and dropping the FirstStrike 1.0 folder in there.  The patch installer will whine, but just select "Ignore".  It will find mod and patch it.
