Re: Some edited FS pictures by me

The zoom blur effect was added by me, thanks for the encouragement, I will do some more soon. Please also tell me which bits of the photos you think work well.

Re: Some edited FS pictures by me

Ok, I have just added Final Encounter, and I have created Imperial Might II which has not got the blur. I am going to take some ground pictures but there rarely are spectator servers and the ones that are are mostly space.

I am also looking into a few ways to improve general picture quality.

Re: Some edited FS pictures by me

I have added a new one called "Targeted", could a mod rename this topic to "Megajames75's gallery".

They look nice from a regular joe Shmoe point of view but if I were to crit them.

I would have to point out that most of your sunflares are in the wrong places or have no place in the screenshot at all.

and the blue effect at the back of the Gallofree in Final encounter looks kinda weird.

Re: Some edited FS pictures by me

Thanks for the tips, but where would the sunflares go to be in the right place. Or are you talking relitive to the actualy map position of the sun?

Re: Some edited FS pictures by me

Lens flares are a pretty big sign of 'I'm trying to make this photoshop look cool with little effort'. While they fit in decently well in the context of space, they still look a bit..amateurish, and I would have kept with the nice contrast of lighting already in the game.

Other than that, I think they look great.
