Well, yeah, that happens in both scenarios, you can keep pulling farther and farther up but then eventually you'll have flipped all the way over and are moving backwards. In that case your gunner is going to be useless anyway so you might as well just start rolling around to avoid fire.

I don't think so. If you keep on turning upwards then the fighters will have to turn even more upwards to keep you in their sights. And since they are in a sharper upwards turn, they will remain exposed to the gunner.

You will of course change course, but that seems like a minor concern compared to surviving.

X (countermeasure key) adjusts the rotation of the guns. F changes the laser to a rapid fire ion cannon. Easy to get those confused.

Roger That but the F key is mentioned in the third paragraph smile

3. B-Wings can put their guns anywhere around the cockpit. Press and hold F to orient the guns where you want them.

This is making my head hurt. I think the best plan of action is simply VoIP "hay i can't shoot them, go ahead and do crazy rolls". I hardly ever have TIEs exploit the blind spot anyway, so whatever. hmm

My fault! Fixing now.

Re: 10 tips every bomber pilot should read

Very nice tutorial Carbon. I have one thing I like added though: Escorts. Could you add a note telling how important it is to escort both bombers, and capital ships? I know I when flying as bomber would appreciate some escort so that I can concentrate on hitting my target instead of doing crazy maneveurs

EDIT:
Oh I just re-read you topic. "10 tips ever BOMBER pilot should read". Well, if you aint getting no escort, then you aint. Crazy maneveurs ftw!

Heh, I'd probably write "10 tips every fighter pilot should read" but it's mostly "lol, shoot the other guys, escort freighters and bombers" and it'd turn out being 3 or 4.

I swear that only about 10% know about the escort point though.. hmm

Hope they figure it soon!

Yeah, well, less know about ion cannons, and even LESS know about transport shielding. tongue
