Topic: New Films

OK let's face it, the original trilogy ownes the new trilogy. I mean JARJAR what were they thinking? However, with the success of games such as KOTOR and JK2JO I see scope for possibly two new/spin off films.

1. Around the time of the mandalorian wars. Similar in time to KOTOR

2. After Episode 6. Imperial Remnant forces still caused a lot of trouble for the new republic after the death star blew up. I see scope for a new film.

But George Lucas did such a bad job directing eps 1,2 and 3 I don't want him to ruin things further in new ones. I don't know really. What do you think?

a kotor series would kick azz but they need to just go ahead and finish it in game format and release kotor3

I don't know what you have expected, but in my opinion the "new" films are brilliant. Lucas is a story-teller in first place and how he did it was ok. To show us Anakin's way to the dark side was the main purpose of E1-3. Besides, Ian McDiarmid (Emperor) was acting so brilliantly he didn't get a chance to do so in E4-6 and I always liked watching Ewan McGregor also. Isn't even Natalie Portman worth watching the movies? wink

Star Wars saga is Anakin's story. Lucas stated long ago that only SW movies he would love to make are the SotE series. But I doubt that we will see continuation to the saga in the forms of "Episode [number]" as the story is already told. Surely, there will be a TV-show spin off in the future as it is being made already.

I'd rather see the movies explore the EU. Most preferbly Star Wars Legacy of The Force serieres >_>....but, it'll have to be completely by the book in order it to be epic.

I liked Episode 1.. but 2 was Disappointing.. 3 was ok...
