Topic: Does this mod work for Battlefield 2 ?

Hi,

Sorry, I am new here and I haven't followed the development of this mod until just recently.

It was made clear that this mod works for Battlefield 2142, but does it also work for Battlefield 2 ?

No it does not. It was originally intended as a mod for Battlefield 2 but plans were changed when it became clear 2142 included better support for many features that needed to go into a Star Wars mod, like walkers and droids.

I see, very understandable, thanks for the information.

I will have to see if I can buy 2142 just for this mod then. I never intended to buy 2142 in the first place, I got enough future, sci-fi oriented games as it is, but I will have to make the effort, since I love the Star Wars universe. I don't even think I will ever play the vanilla game at all.

vanilla means original/un-modded, for instance Zenoth won't be playing 2142 but he'll be playing FS.

Yup, I bought 2142 2 days ago just for FS, haven't touched Vanilla and I doubt I will tongue

i dont play 2142 either,  i play bf2 if i want that war
but i love me some first strike    incredible mod!!
