The bacta helps keep himself alive, because he is in fact a mobile (or should be) spawn point.
Isn’t that what medics are for, but since you can be a team leader without having to be an officer the officer is even less valuable. Why not be a medic that would be more effective combat and team support wise? It's more of a surprise than it should be when there is an officer in a team using the spawn beacon.
Lance Haith wrote:And I think its the squad/clans job to find the best way to use the Officer role, as he is the only 'new' class. But I find myself more often then not throwing a spawn beacon down and respawning as someone more effective....
So is it effective or isn’t it? Is it just effective long enough to lay the spawn beacon and spawn as something else? If that is all it’s good for then it needs some rethinking.
Lance Haith wrote:So a redox wouldnt be bad but I just don't know how'd you go about doing it without having him take an already occupied role.
Isn’t the role of a team leader/officer squad management? The officer as is already has 2 ½ roles spawn, ammo supply, and bacta, so what role are you worried it will take?
Lance Haith wrote:The probe droid? isnt that the job of the average trooper? They have sensor node things and a mobile UAV making them very important. Use a trooper in your squad and you wont need a probe droid mesthinks. I dun know, maybe I missing something.
Most players already seem to be Troopers as they have their own UAV and Sensor nodes. The stationary sensors are ok, but they shouldn’t have the UAVs. I don’t think UAVs and sensors have much to do with the request for a probe droid ability.
There is a difference between being important and being a pompous little brat.
