i still think it would be cool that since the imperials have walkers, if they won the hoth ground part, it would immiediately load up escape from hoth with the same team and point, thats what you call cinematic

Will the snow speeders actually implement the rear firing grapplehook/zipline technology that already exists for troop kits? like in battlefield 2: special forces.  The snow speeder could grapple onto the AT-AT's leg & trip it up.  The rebel ground trooper could also have this in his kit to grapple onto the belly of an AT-AT & plant some detonators to the bottom of it.

battlefield 2 has a different engine to bf 2142. i like the idea of planting things onto the belly. maybe firing a sort of sticky bomb onto its underside.

There will NOT be a grappling hook on the back of the speeder the engine does not support ropes.  Sorry

*GASP* Say... say it isn't so! AAAAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!! Snowspeeders without the harpoon and tow cable is like the Battle of Hoth without AT-ATs. That's terrible. sad *sheds a tear*

Also, I can't find a thread I started that had a pretty comprehensive list of suggestions and critiques I had posted either last Wednesday or Thursday. sad I promised the guys who replied to it that I'd come back and give detailed answers to them as soon as I could, but now I can't find it.
