You forget that the mjolnir has strength-enhacing limbs and such.

Like in the books, one of the spartans twitched or triped in their suit and ended up breaking every bone in their body (and dying), because the super-strength of the suit magnified every twitch to bone-shattering proportions.

Of course, it'd be badass (once you learned how to control it), you could cave someones face in with one punch.

I'm no nerd, but I would definitly want MC's armor if it had the shield and everything.

Yes, an armoured exoskeleton definitely outclasses what appears to be close to existing body armour.

But........ didn't the spartans have to undergo some rather nasty operations before they could use it?
I think there was something about a lot of them not making it, being dead or crippled afterwards.

Well it's like the Training system on 300 except alot Pickier and probaly 10x harder
