Topic: FIRST STRIKE WIKI

Anyone remember the topic made where a wiki was suggested? Well I liked it, and I know we have a manual, but wikis are awsome...So I took the liberty of gettiing us our own wiki!!!

It need A LOT of editing to be done.

But I hope that together we can make it really great.

In the contents are all the main pages needed to be created...I've organized the Main Page, and done 2 articles.

Also, It still needs a logo...Can somebody supply that?

Please don't make any drastic changes without consulting me first, and if you need any help, ask here.

when we talk about stuff should it be first strike facts and not star wars facts. such as how to control machines

Well I love the idea of a Wiki. There are just some things that don't really belong in a manual, such as the different maneuvers a Speederbike can do, methods to board the AT-AT at Endor, etc. tongue

One suggestion though... I think a new theme would be helpful, something more black. I'm inspired by Memory Alpha, who have a stylish yet very practical layout. If you'd like some help setting that up, I'd be happy to lend a hand, but in the meantime I'll start filling in the info about kits/weapons (simple extracts from the manual).

Yes, yes If you can do that that would be good. I think something black would look good too. For the kits/classes follow what I did for the trooper then add whatever you like. For vehicles and ships do roughly what I did for the AT-STs and then add stuff. Weapons/devices/droids...make up some layout...I just want all the simmilar things to have roughly the same layout so it looks organized.

Nice.

I added a section in "Contents" for maps. In the map articles you can put things like general information and tactical advice on the different maps currently features in First Strike.
