Topic: Ranting Regarding Ramming & Retards

Why is it people always b!tch and moan about getting "rammed" by enemies or allies?

I REALLLY don't understand this, it's like you think they do it on purpose. Well I bet you they didn't deliberately ram you to take the chance of getting a kill. It's called a collision people, get over it, it happens. Maybe stupid people tend to get into collisions more, maybe not, but you guys need to chill the -- down. Jeez. It really annoys me when I am trying to coordinate a team and some window licker interrupts to call out another guy for "ramming" him, when it was most likely accidental. Then they get into a b!tch fight for 3 minutes straight.

Maybe you people should stop ganging up on the enemy and you wouldn't smack into eachother so much? Think about it, 2 people endlessly chasing eachother, chance of collision: low. Now think 2 people chasing the same one, chance of eventual collision: Very high.

So, if you are in a loopdy loop chase and someone join in on your circle of lameness, jsut get out of it, yo uaren't going to catch the guy anyways.

And don't ENTER someone else's dogfight and try to "Steal" their kill, thats just being a stupid jackass right there, unless they ask for it. I don't know how many times I have been TK'd by some window licker in back of me trying to get my target before I did.

Anyways, the only time it is really justifiable to flame someone for ramming would be if they run directly into you while you are in a capitol ship, because really they are just being a dick, tacking on TKs to your score.

So yea.

1) No more flaming when people collide with you.
2) No more trying to swoop in and steal kills, then starting #1.

That is all... Back to mapping for me.

Re: Ranting Regarding Ramming & Retards

+1, I had plenty of that happen to me too. I even got TK's when someone else jumped in my loop, they bumped me and there ship health must have been low, they die , i get the TK.
Just get out of the loop and all is well.
Enjoy the Game !

Do..or do not, there is no try !

I 100% agree with you, plus its pretty cinematic if you get 2 ships to crash into eachother while being chased, and its not liked its a ranked game like battlefield 2142 where points matter as much.

The only time I would join in on someones dogfight is if, one, they are being chased by another fighter while chasing another fighter, or two, if they start calling out "Need support".

Re: Ranting Regarding Ramming & Retards

one thing i do notice about loop fights (especially when your being chased as a y-wing with a gunner), you dont always have that much trouble, you can easily take down one tie fighter chasing you.  But when a bunch of them gang up on you, youre pretty much screwed, so if you are good enough pilots, ganging up like that is very effective, especially when it comes to defending against bombers, even if you dont kill them right away theres no way they can launch a bomb without being pumbled.  Not only this, but it encourages teamplay for bother sides, which is what first strike it about, one on one fighting can get boring after a while, even when you're an ace
