I don't quite understand the "command list" part, are you having problems mapping the joystick to the controls?
Because I and several others use the joystick for flying with no issues (except the boost)

Re: JOYSTICK CONNECTION

exactly , the mapping !
there could be an issue :by using  joytokey or glove pie you could, in that way, use the joystick as a keyboard or a mouse  . the only one way to have it analogique is to convert it as a mouse it would be close to a joystick feeling but how to use mouse view in that case?

I am still not certain that I understand you, but to configure my joystick I just click on the appropriate control in aircraft settings and move the joystick in the desired direction.
The control will then become something like "-JoyAxis3" (and the control for the opposite direction will automatically be mapped at the same time).

Have a look at this thread and see if anything there helps.

Re: JOYSTICK CONNECTION

I have to map the first aircraft column. The second will not save for some reason and it is also that way in 2142. Even with saitek software I cannot map boost to a key but with xpadder I can map boost, x and even a mouse button if I wanted. xpadder.com

Re: JOYSTICK CONNECTION

I've calibrated my joystick, but I consider just plugging it back out. For some reason, even though it works fine for Falcon 4.0: Allied Force, but both when I play Project Reality and when I play First Strike, my craft veers to the left as if the rudder was not centered. This after repeated attempts to calibrate the thing. Very annoying.
