Topic: game crashes when loading/connecting to game server

I have the 1.1 patch and BF2142 version 1.25.

My specs are:
AMD Athlon 4200 X2
512 megs of ram
geforce 7600
dfi lanparty ut nf4 ultra-d mobo
windows xp 64-bit

It doesn't matter which map or server I choose it always crashes and the progress bar is always in the same place when it happens.

I tried clearing my game cache but that didn't work.

OK I reinstalled the mod and patch and that fixed things. I think the problem was because the first time I installed the patch it crashed because it wasn't in Windows 95 compatibility mode.

it was because you got the 32 bit version of the patch. there was a 64 made for xp 64 (only os that had problems with it) but yes, in win 95 comp seems to work aswell

Huh where's that patch? I'm using WinXP64 with the standard 32bit version of the patch and game and have yet to crash once.
