While I don't travel out to the country that much (not a country kinda person), it is nice out there.

I spent 3 years on that side on the island in a little military base and I prefer the view of the mountains from that side they go straight up. Oh well now I live in Belgium and the weather here is well blah…

*Gasp* That's one of the meanest things you can say to a dev! (at least imo, battlefront was a big bunch of fail)

That was my first impression followed by “they changed BF2142 into Bf2 and then changed it into a star wars game.” I’m not the one throwing the term ADHD at anyone that doesn’t agree with my point of view.

I never said anything about orbital strikes or Enemy Territory and anyone can have their own personal arty in that game. I never liked being 1 second away from taking a flag and some nut on my team drops arty on me. If it was request only through an NPC commander (like in single player) maybe, but it will always get dropped at the most inopportune time.

All I’m saying is more character focuses less cut and paste. That or don’t tie up important team abilities in a class that few people are going to use in reality. Most players don’t want to play the ultimate team pack mule. At the end of day the game is recreation and so is making comments here. If a lot of people don’t like the mod or do so be it.

There is a difference between being important and being a pompous little brat.

Officer does'nt need changing, and if your going to change it all he needs is an auto rifle.

I can imagine lol. Must be colder there too.

Anyway, the officer pistol is fine, it serves as a good sniper-type weapon. Plus the damage it does is not small.

it is a 3 hit kill, but i wish it was faster

Re: Officer with probe droid

Nothing is wrong with the Officer, Rebo if you don't know how to play the officer class don't choose it. Because in the end this is the devs mod and they make it the way they see fit. If you don't understand how to use certain features or classes, don't use them. The officer is a very powerful class if you know how to use him. Maybe you just suck with a pistol or haven't learned what a scanner does...?

Preach is not labeling everyone who disagrees with him, seems more like you are just trying to find ways to take offense to it.

This mod isn't even close to SWBF. I am beginning to think you haven't played even 2 weeks.

This whole understanding thing you keep going on about is true. People design things a certain way and expect players to see it the same way they did. Sometimes that works. In this case it doesn't because all you people are concerned with is how YOU are going to do in a firefight. Well newsflash, the officer is not supposed to be taking point and spearheading assaults. We have been playing this mod for months, so I think we should know how things were designed. You have only grazed the surface I guess. The gameplay of FS is very deep and complex, but it is not explained in tool tips or dialog screens for you to read, is this what FS needs? Some sort of tooltips to inform you people wtf you are doing?

And it just so happens that everyone is not expected to use the officer kit, oOo wow, thats why they made it SL only! If you don't want to support your team, you don't belong playing FS, go play SWBFII mmkay? I don't want to see people like you in my squads.

Wow. I'm not even going to respond to that except with this: if you don't want feedback, shut down the Suggestions forum. That's it.

This is the kind of attitude I stopped going to the MBII forums for.

I wonder what the voice for the tooltips would be......maybe someone could imitate obi-wan's voice (the ep 4 one). That'd be awesome.

Just trying to make light of a situation. smile
