Topic: "This server is running an older version than you are."

I am running bf2142 v1.25, beta 1.4 version 1, and have installed FS 1.0 and 1.1. In the advanced tab of the servers screen, when I have nothing but "Same Mod" and "Same Version" checked, I get no servers listed, but with "Same Version" unchecked the search comes up with the 1.1 servers--however, when I try to join, I get this error "This server is running an older version than you are."

I am running WinXP professional 64bit.

when you say bf2142 v1.25, beta 1.4 version 1 do you mean that you have the 1.25 or the 1.4 because
you can only have one...

fs is running bf2142 patch 1.25, i hope that answers your question tongue

I have the 1.4 patch, beta 1. For FS to work, do I need to uninstall and then reinstall bf2142 with the 1.25 only patch, rather than the beta patch?

Unfortunately, yes. FS does not support the beta patch for BF 2142. I think the devs won't add compatibility until the patch stops being a beta and becomes an actual release.
