Release II soll bis Weihnachten kommen, dann mit funktionierenden Singleplayer, neuen Maps (Hoth, YAVIN 4 und weiteren Spacemaps) und neuen Features.

Is this confirmed, or just a rumor?

Anyway, I like that it talks about how space combat is similar to that of the X-Wing series in atmosphere. This is a sentiment I share.

I'm fairly sure single player will always be a separate mod.

just a rumor. there is no set date for a planned release of r2.
its just that its christmas and well that sounds so nice that people believe it
