Topic: KotOR: MMORPG.

I thought i saw rumors months ago but some sources close to Bioware seem to have confirmed it pretty recently, there's a KotOR mmorpg in production. With the recent takeover, i hope the empire monstrosity called EA doesn't push Bioware to release an unfinished product. Now to await the official confirmation.

If it can accomplish the feel of the first KotOR game and have a galaxy to explore, it might be a MMORPG worth buying. Though... Personally i would've wished a simple sequel to KoTOR 2 made by Bioware.

Discuss your thoughts and wishes, KotOR fans. smile

Tesco and EA are both intergalactic empires, its only a matter of time before they go to war and destroy the universe.

Well let's see... Lucas is planning a Live-action TV series, an animated 3D TV series, why not a video game?

KOTOR was one of the few games that let you actually feel like a Jedi. Now instead of computer opponents, you have actual players at the end of your saber... if you've played 2142 singleplayer and then tried online-multiplayer, you know what a difference that can be...

And with Bioware signing onboard, it definitely has my interest. I'll wait and see what the reviews say on KOTOR3 before buying.

9 Million players on World of Warcraft would disagree, and then stab you through the heart with a ceremonial dagger to cleanse the world of your blasphemy. lol

Heh I'd say alot of people would disagree with you.

I myself never got into MMO's but alot of my friends and relatives have. Hell World of WarCraft is a house hold name and its even featured in CAR ADVERTISEMENTS! Guild Wars is very popular too.

I love KOTOR and BioWare! As long as Sony doesn't get in on it the game will be very solid knowing BioWare and the rich amount of freedom they have with the KOTOR universe. I hope them the best of luck for making this game great.

Re: KotOR: MMORPG.

mass appeal =/= good game

In fact its normally the opposite.
