Ok, if the ones on the front of the slave quarters can't be fixed, that's really too bad. But the worst one isn't there; it's on the MosEntha (I believe) map - the daytime infantry push map. On the SE cap, if you go straight south from the flag, through the archway into the courtyard, it's on the left (east) -- a stairway that goes to a little patio with a table. That one's extra-annoying.

yeah, last time I checked, in the movies you dont see storm troopers or rebel soldiers jump up steps to get to their battlestations

Of course not, but we're talking the slave quarter steps. You see Anakin leap up them in the Extended Remastered Extra-Special Edition of Episode I.

Theres one in mos espa, in the eastern outpost just inside town theres a stairs leading to a balcony which looks out over the desert and you just slide off the stairs, I had to empty my stamina bar 3 times to get up there.

If they were too easy to get up it wouldn't be a challenge. But i don't think the other houses should have the stairs they do at the door. It makes it hard to get out and in sometimes.
