Topic: I have a few comments on the fire/explosions/effects on FS
I just want to start out with, well, all the explosions (on ground missions) seem kind of...well...old nintendo-like. They arent the explosion of darkred and orange with smoke inside it like in BF2/2142. Instead, its just a...well, it looks like a flat panel with a mound of reds and oranges on it. It looks 2d; it doesnt really have any depth. This is with the grenades and the rocketlauncher.
Another thing too, is, the fire...like the static fire on Mos Entha...it looks...not like fire (see above). It looks like the explosions, but not like fire...its really hard to explain dudes
I think that if you up the explosion-factor (the quality/detail) it would give the game more immersion and blood-pumping action, like if you were actually in Star Wars.
Oh, and another thing, the rocket-launcher...the damage AOE (Area of Effect) needs to be upped a bit and it needs to actually hurt someone if you NAIL them with it.
