Hmm... the kit idea sounds great, but possible troubles. What if pilots land their craft, let it get destroyed, then don't die for a long time (like fly a TIE fighter, land back at base and take an AT-AT)?
Then too bad for him. You can't bail from fighters anyway, though this is a space feature and may change for ground maps seeing ejecting over a planet won't have you fall for 5-10 minutes.
But if the pilot has a usable weapon and can exit the craft, you'll have a certain amount of people use fighters as personal transports, flying them to an enemy base for then to land there and step out of the fighter, leaving it to be stolen or destroyed.
So yes, give us pilot kits.
Plus, pilots that miss the first kit wave can still wait for the current pilots to die with their ships.
Yup, and some do. Tough luck for them.
The team that commits more troops to the fight will win, period.
Nope.
The only way to stop people from camping out waiting for their vehicles is A. Provide more vehicles than players, which would shortchange infantry attacks, or B. Eliminate vehicles altogether, which defeats the purpose of maps like Hoth or others.
There'll always be camping and TKing for fighters. Pilot kits alleviate the problem, though.
Let the retards have their day and learn from constantly losing battles for their team.
