Hey hey now, surely there must have been a few clone anomaly. Theres a tricky endocrinological condition called female androgen insensitivity syndrome, where the body refuses to process testosterone, so what whould normally be born a boy, is born a girl, but... I guess you can't really get TOO into explinatations for Women wearing Stormy masks.

OK people, time for me to step in.

They aren't ALL Jango clones...They recruit just like any military force.  They recruit females as well and don't care about the "females in combat" thing like USA does.

True, they don't allow aliens in the Empire (except for Grand Admiral Thrawn of course).

But that goes without saying.

As far as the women thing, I guess that's open to debate.  There are sources that say they are allowed and sources that say otherwise.  Either way it makes little difference.
