i will download it. been playing fs long enough at the moment. expect a big drop in players until the 1.2 patch comes out. Cant wait for it though.

I will wait till fs is compatable. And why is it only on one site? I searched but it only appears on that site.

It functions fully with FS.  The only issue you might have is some FS servers still running 1.25.  As long as the FS Server is running 1.4 then you will be able to play (DSGaming.net servers are now running 1.4)

So,
I must ask...Now that the non-beta 2142 patch is out -and- functional with First Strike, do we get the new FS release? I'd read a few things here and there suggesting that the new 2142 patch releasing was a large part of greenlighting the release. Are there still testing/tweaking/content finalizing steps to be taken or do we get hover tanks by this weekend? big_smile

we that's even better. Why is everything so dam slow though for downloading. This should probably be an update to make sure people know what is happening.

I don't think it's really necessary to announce, as soon as you start your game, FS or vanilla, it tells you there is a new patch anyhow.  Most everyone will then install it.  Provided server hosts upgrade, everyone should be fine.
