Re: On wrecks staying for I don't know how long

I think just the legs would be fine... Because if you haven't noticed theres like 30 pieces that come out of the ATST.

The wrecks for capitol ships just weren't finished in time for release. Hopefully they will be in there for R2 big_smile

If the engine can support leftover debris scattered about, would that bring up performance issues for the servers and the clients?  Plus if pieces of debris are left in the field (ground or space), will they be permanent, immobile objects?

Will you be doing the same for fighters? i love how in some games when you destroy a tie, the wings will get off and just float in space

I'm not sure, that depends I suppose. Half the time you would never even see them though because of the dark background of space.

I don't think its nessecary but it sure would be cool!

Personally I think it'd be even cooler if the pilot inside lost control of the fighter when on fire and he would just be left screaming "oohhhh sh*kaboom*" but then again this is a game and no one is actually dying so no one would say that big_smile

Re: On wrecks staying for I don't know how long

I would kinda like to have wreckage from blown up stuff staying. I hate it when i blow up an AT-ST, it explodes really well, then after 20 seconds the legs go away. Would be cool to see remains staying like that. (On a side note, maybe after an AT-AT is destroyed, you could go inside it for cover?)
