If you want to run the singleplayer mod, just get on normal fs then go to community>custom games>FS_SP and go from there.

If you're lazy, then you could create a shortcut like me, just right click like your going to make a folder, but press "shortcut" instead.. now after you do that its going to come up with a thing where you put the location of the file you are shortcutting to. now go through your files finding the FS_SP folder, for me its C:>program files>electronic arts>bf2142>mods>FS_SP. AFter you've found that, press ok and then next to proceed. after that you ahve to make a name for it.. and thats not hard so lets move to the next thing.. then you press "finish" and it comes up with a folder that has FS_SP on it! OH NOES!! WHAT NOW!!!! ok, ok calm down take a deep breath.. IIIIN.. OUUUT... alright, now we're ready to move on again.

right click on your WIP icon then press "properties" and put "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142" in "start in" KEEP THE QUOTATIONS THERE otherwise you lose your straightness..  and in "target" put=

"C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142\BF2142.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +modPath mods/FS_SP +eaAccountName accountname +eaAccountPassword accountpassword +soldierName soldiername

put it exactly like that or it won't work.. the reason i had you put your eaaccount, password, and soldiername is because you dont have to login when you start up the SP mod and its much easier for all of us if you do it that way..

You can run it from the desktop icon as long as your not using vista.

Or start up bf2142, choose the community tab and select the FS_sp  MOD.

I just copied the standard FS shortcut, redirected it then made my own icon using1/2 the imp symbol and 1/2 the alliance symbol. That way it's easy to tell the difference between the 2 mods.

Can't wait for more improvements to the singleplayer. Take out the computer controlled gun turrets and 2nd vehicle positions. The bots go nuts and become useless as they fire at the turbolaser batteries.

I dont mind too much it was a bit of a daft question but I have only been playing this for 5 mins so i didnt know how to set it up.

Hey everyone, this is my first post, and I wanted to say something.

So far I love the mod and this mini-mod, but I have a problem. After I got it to work, I tried to load the Tantooine map (I know I probably butchered the spelling...) but it went back to the main menu. Didn't close the game, but would not load the map. Another one I tried worked.

Thank you for any and all help.

P.S: I have only tried to do it once, and will try again.
