Look, in small craft it's not looking good, as you said.  Even in GC, as soon as a Lambda rotated or pitched off the X-plane of the map, the player would remain upright while the ship would move in a different direction.

Now, in 2142, that's present, but worse.

It's a huge strain on the engine to even have a Titan with players on it moving around, so the faster ships like Corvettes have no chance of players boarding them and the ships maneuvering, to be honest.

The only place where I could see Titan/player involvement is the larger craft such as Victory Star Destroyers and small Calamari Cruisers.

lol...i was a boarding expert in GC. I know how hard it is to board a moving ship. One thing that really tested that was the fact that i used a joystick. For a long time if i tried to board by the escape pod, i would instantly fall off. (i solved that later on...) But until i fixed that problem, i had to fly toward a tiny hole in the side of a moving ship, then jump out at a high speed and fly into it. I managed to do it quite well. Remember, capital ships aren't ridiculously fast, so it is possible to get onto them when they are in motion, its just a little harder to get on to them than a fixed spot like a space station.

By the way...this isnt about the ship's motion and sticky surfaces, remember? It's about ship destruction effects. O.o
