Topic: AT-ATs deploying troops

I was just flipping through my guide to vehicles and vessels book, and i saw the AT-AT.
It said to deploy troops, "It kneels to about 3 meters off the ground and lowers a deployment ramp."
So maybe in the AT-AT's controls somewhere, there could be a "Kneel" button so you could kneel it to the ground for troops to get off. It would be an interesting mechanic to try, and would put more uses into the side door. (the ramp)

Re: AT-ATs deploying troops

Do you realy think the engine could handle that? Hard enough to make them walk properly.

In GC, you had two passenger positions 'lead outside', in that when you hit 'e' to exit them, you found yourself on the ground. That'd work for me.

Re: AT-ATs deploying troops

It is perfectly possible to make it kneel, maybe even a ramp too. But it would just look stupid imo.

Re: AT-ATs deploying troops

Lol I wasn't saying that off the top of my head, i read that out of my book. If it looks stupid, blame Veers, not me. I just kinda wish that since it's such a huge vehicle there would be a normal way to walk outside rather than get in and out of a position like in GC.

Re: AT-ATs deploying troops

maybe it could be a spawnpoint like an APC in titan mode, only spawn outside next to it
