Well I quite liked bf2 but my fav out of all the bf series is 2142 closely followed by 1942. Worste game I ever played was Star Wars Force commander.

BF2 is not the worst game ever. Its very solid as a game, offers wide variety of customization, an upgrade system, and some pretty cool vehicles. Now it shows that they made BF2 as the pioneer "ranking/upgrade" system since 2142 has so much more depth when it comes to that.

Also its focus is very heavy on infantry and there are no maps that inspire one of the epic Tobruk or El Alamien in 1942. But really thats what happens when you introduce modern weapons to the BF series.

Then their are some silly design choices that we don't like because we play 2142 more. I'm mainly speaking of the insta rearm and insta heal packs...

And bf 2142 is by far one of the most underrated games of recent memory. (Conquest is not good though on titan mode maps) BF2142 is the reason I will buy into a BF3 based in the Middle East (though I would prefer a slight change or something scenario wise).

Bf2 is one of my all time favorite games. i like the modern era of stuff and i liked the helicopters physics better than those stupid transports in 2142. I think it was also harder to aim in BF2 but easier to die which i like. it gives more realism
