I've had this crazy movie intro idea ever since GC. Basically, I'd remake the intro movie from BF1942, with the same music and scenes, but with FS material, filmed from ingame play.

Something like seeing an all-white screen, then two suns, then it pans down to a desert, and instead of Shermans on a hilltop firing at German tanks, you'd have t3b tanks in an exchange with Firehawke tanks. Instead of an aircraft carrier with escort ships, you'd have a Carrack with escort ships. Instead of WWII bombers over a European city, you'd have Star Wars bombers over a Star Wars city. And so on. Same camera angles, same music, same movement, just with FS content.

Don't know quite what'd replace the sub and depth charges (maybe a Gallofree transport taking long-range fire from a Star Destroyer?), or the Katyusha, not to mention the freaking paratroopers . And there's no real transport craft in the game, so the short scene with Higgins boats being strafed by fighters can't be made until there's some sort of transport in the game (at which point you can have, say, Assault Transports under fire from TIE Fighters). But I think it'd be awesome. Don't think I'd make it myself, though, just throwing the idea out.

Oh, and watch Omen's movie releases closely. You may at some point see something you haven't seen before .
