They would be like tarantulas jumping on the back of a desert bird. Many would go, but in the end the bird would fall.

They have regenerative technology, can beam on any ship and infect it and the Empire and an Imperial vessel would be absolutely ignorant to the threat until it was too late.

imperial shields block all matter and energy. there ship would be destroyed in seconds. they would all be dead.

After one Borg ship was destroyed, the Borg would have adapted to the Imperial ship's weapon frequecy and the empire would not know the Borg well enough to remodulate their weapons.

Hundreds if not thousands of borg ships would swarm on an Imperial ship if need be and would do whatever it took to take that ship over.

you cannot adapt to the power of the dark side. But yeah being hit by the weapons of the star destroyer is like being hit by the sun. they are incredibly powerful. it doesn't matter how adapted their shields are if they hit them with 300 million GW. They can adapt to phazers not blasters

All matter and energy?  Proton torpedos seem to do okay against those shields, you know big_smile

I wonder how transporter technology would play into this.

I could image a couple of cloaked Federation assault shuttles sneaking up on an Imperial Star Destroyer, beaming over to the bridge, sealing themselves in, and depriving the rest of the crew of life support lol

proton torpedoes only work because they in the star wars power range. plus they would have been blocked by shields.

but couldn't say about the transporter. doesn't work in star trek with shields up but i have no idea how their shields are supposed to work.
