The only thing i find strange is that they should have kept that aspect of the engine. Here are examples why: BF2: They had those inflatable boats that you drove around, + they used carriers. If they had kept the engine, they might have been able to make the carriers mobile. BF2142: Isn't it obvious? Titans. Floating through the air. They should have kept the engine so it would be easier to do these things.
The only thing I could see possible in the realm of possibility is moving around somthing like the Star Destroyer, Death Star, or Home 1. Executer would be freaking amazing as well!

yeah but the thing is that if you have people inside a large, moving object, it will produce vast amounts of lagg. and they did keep the aspect engine and they are using it as well as they can.(the cap ships in space maps are a lot bigger than what you think they are) the bf2142 engine just isn't the most efficient engine around.
