Hrm, here's something strange. After I inserted an Envmap my detail texture view appears to be covered in a checkerboard pattern... is this normal?

Undergrowth is still a buggy as well, if anyone knows how to fix it.

have you modified the terrain or the textures after made the undergrwoth? It is can be simply your parameters, check the density...
