Oh i see it

Actually, I went on the Ninja Server once. There was a player who told me to switch the drive controls for land vehicles to my mousewheel. If you get on the speederbike and spin your mouse wheel quickly you can take off and fly all over the map so long as you keep on moving your mouse wheel.

Re: Hacker

Ah, right, the mousewheel glitch, I forgot about that one.

Ohhh, I see.  My bad.  This is your house.  Your house. tongue

Still, glitching like that isn't really a bannable thing, and to post both here and on YouTube that he should be banned just seems... silly.  Especially as the video didn't have any names on it, so you couldn't prove to other server admins that BTCC was doing it.  To expect people to ban somebody (permanently, I take it, as you're not suggesting it while it's happening) is a little silly, as well, don't you think?

And, golly.  I've probably played over 60 hours of FS, and I rarely have time (working 14 hours/day will do that).  I turned down an offer to join the testers (which I frequently regret, as I had fun doing so for GC), because I'd feel obligated to spend far more time than I've got.  I'd heard about the mousewheel thing.  In a way, it's kind of similar to podsurfing (quickly moving controls to force the engine to 'dither', keeping you aloft).  I just hadn't seen it in action.  So, thanks for the video.  smile

Today's spelling/grammar tip: There = a (sometimes conceptual) place. "There is my car." or "There is such a thing as magic."  // Their = posessive. "Their meat is full of worms." // They're = contraction of <they are>. "They're crazy!" // "They're trying to put their shoes up there."

Thats! what I meant!

lol why the smurf did I say gunship exploit.... *slaps head*

Edit: Also Terrorek, it appears he took that video in Battle recorder which means he could perfectly well prove it with a high res screen shot from the same time. Not that he needs to prove it since it really isn't a hack, just a glitch...

Re: Hacker

Hehe, I actually stopped and thought, 'what the smurf, doesn't Omen know that you can boost and then jump with the damned bike?!'. Then I realized that wasn't what he was doing big_smile .
