Topic: How'd you find out about First Strike?

On suggestion, I have made a new topic to see how all you new members of the community have found the FS mod.  How'd you guys end up here?  News sites, Google News, PlanetBattlefield?

We're pushing to get more players for our next release, and any feedback on the PR would be immensely helpful for me big_smile

i actually found it while surfing through the Galactic Conquest forums, luckily i ran into it and thought id give it a google search then found this website, as soon as i found it the next day i went out and bought 2142 just to play. =]

I think I stumbled across it on ModDB and maybe YouTube aswell, can't quite remember, heh. Oh well, it was a good day when I did find it, I'm looking forward to 1.2 release. :]

I followed the Shattered Faith mod until it died and the team moved on to join the makers of First Strike.

I was looking for BF2 mods, cause i liked GC, and DC, for 1942.
At the time FS was to be released for BF2...glad its for 2142.
And so happy it was a Star Wars mod.

A bit over a year ago my clan (All Star Wars, or was) was getting ticked at LA for not releasing any decent Star Wars games anymore, especially for the PC.  A lot of my members were interested in BF2142 and one of them located the mod as a reason for our Star Wars only clan to start supporting it.  That is about it.
