My big timing concern is that it's 3PM to 1AM. Do the math: that's 10 hours.

@willmoody0: Should you care to clarify your suggestion, please specify the time zone you're operating out of (GMT?), and please shorten the window. I love this mod, but I'm not going to designate 10 hours out of my life for it. Giving us just a start time works better - we all show up at the start time, and we play for as long as possible.

If anyone else is reading this, I vote that it be set to:

15:00, GMT (the 3PM willmoody0 suggested) on December 9.

Obviously not a CG, and seeing as myself and willmoody0 have less that 20 posts combined, it's obviously not official either - but giving people a dependable time to log on and play FS works much like XFire in getting people online.

If this is a signature... why doesn't the bank accept it on cheques?

Ah, but you see, that is exactly why the servers tend to be empty. If nobody's online, then nobody joins any of the servers; if nobody joins any of the servers, nobody will ever be online. It's a vicious circle, and one that can only be broken if we set up a time and place to play.

The Community Games help, indeed, but they're too infrequent for some of us smile Of course, the reason that CGs are every 2 weeks is that the mod team has better things to be doing, like... designing the mod! But that's no reason that the rest of us can't organize and play.

@jedi-ftank: "Cheque" is actually the proper way to spell it. "Check", when referring to money, is an American alteration of the original English. I'm Canadian - we still say "colour", too.
