I found out about it while searching for BF2 mods as well. from that point (a little under a year before it was released) and madly waited until it came out. I bought BF 2142 just to play smile

I think I saw it on either moddb or planet battlefield. can't remember

Been a happy visitor of the Total Battlefield 2142 site, spotted the regular news updates on FirstStrike from there. Fell in love with the idea of a Star Wars in Battlefield genre, watched and played eagerly ever since.

When i buy a game like BF or HL , i always see if there is a mod community , and thats how i found FS , by a french fansite of BF2142
