I love and hate that 'huge stationary laser bolt' glitch. And yes, having something explode near you is awesome. Great pic.

Yeah, it is a nice effect if you capture it in a screenshot, even if it is a glitch. In the above shot it just gives a really cool effect of a heavy salvo of turbolaser fire impacting a cruiser all at the same time. I'm going to have to put my capture key in an easy place to get to in a hurry, as I could have had some awesome dogfighting shots from last night's battles, but by the time you press the key that sweet shot moment has usually passed.

and that is why Battlerecorder is a wonderful thing, Talon.

I'm back from college on the 16th, so I'll be able to raise some more havoc, teamplay, and awesome FS moments. I may also have gotten a friend interested in the mod. We'll see.
